White Energy, one of the nation’s leading producers of biofuels, animal feed and food ingredients, has appointed John Keaveney as vice president of sales and marketing for its gluten operations.
“As the nation’s largest supplier of vital wheat gluten, there are tremendous opportunities in the marketplace for White Energy,” said Greg Thompson, White Energy president and CEO. “John is a proven leader who can leverage those opportunities and continue to drive our gluten business forward.”
Keaveney will be responsible for the overall product strategy for White Energy’s vital wheat gluten products. He will focus on expanding White Energy’s current product offerings and strengthening relationships with customers that include many of the most iconic brands in the food and beverage industry.
“White Energy is such an important player in the nation’s gluten industry,” Keaveney said. “As the global demand for gluten continues to grow, I’m excited about identifying new ways to serve our customers and grow our business.”
Keaveney previously served as vice president of Ingredion Inc., a FORTUNE 500 company that manufactures specialty ingredients, including sweeteners, starches, and nutrition ingredients used in food and beverages. He launched more than 20 new products at Ingredion and delivered consistent and significant growth. In addition, Keaveney identified new strategic alliances and created new sales channels.
He received his undergraduate degree at Worcester University in Massachusetts and his MBA from Quinnipiac University in Connecticut.
